Save your fingers!

Paleo Lesson #5: Get a julienne peeler! Another option for pasta is using zucchini. The first night I decided to cut it by hand. This took about 15-20 minutes and the widths were all different, which means they all cooked differently. I also sliced my finger pretty badly, and apparently some people get really touchy when you use the last Toy Story band aid. The next time I used a julienne peeler. What a genius invention! This only took about 3 minutes, and it looked like real pasta! Paired with a delicious bruschetta chicken, this is my new go-to meal. Thank you Kimberly Geswein for opening my eyes to this amazing tool!    Posted July 22, 2013

There really isn’t much to say about this one! Wonderful little tool! Wonderful “pasta”! Wonderful meal! Here is the link if you want to check it out.

Update: I have since found this amazing veggie slicer. This thing saves so much time. My 4 yr. old loves slurping up zucchini noodles.
